Krishna Bhaavin

I am a curious learner, an intense feeler and a self-absorbed thinker, in that order. My role in the world is that of a modern-day yogi; also a spiritual trainer and a thought-provoking author; a personal coach and a healer. Divinely guided by Mahavatar Babaji, I have intimately learnt with enlightened masters like Guruji Rishi Prabhakar, Leonard Orr and now Dattatreya Shiv Baba (Dr. Pillai). Currently at 41, I enjoy getting to the bottom of things and actively sharing my learnings. I have a voracious appetite for reading. I speak and write about a whole gamut of topics from spirituality and emotional healing to productivity and enlightened prosperity. My deepest interest lies in the science of easy living.

Four Leadership Lessons From Airlift – The Movie

Airlift-Movie

There is something very special about this country that we inhabit. It is large enough to encompass the worst of the worst as well as the best of the best when it comes to things, people and events. The movie Airlift depicts this real-life act of courage of few extraordinary people through an effective reel-life portrayal. Keep Reading

struggle_with_myself

I am a yogi, a modern-day yogi, a truth-seeker at heart. To seek truth is my innermost inspiration. I try to understand life – at the visceral as well as the intellectual level. I seek to get to the bottom of things. I seek to grow and be a better human being. I seek to serve. I seek to become like the many enlightened masters whom I cherish and revere.

On the other hand, I have a passion and a matched talent. I am a gifted orator. I enjoy playing with ideas and words, as if it is a sport. To express this aspect of my authentic self, I conduct trainings. I get a lot of love from my students because I almost mother them and facilitate many breakthroughs in their lives. I get a lot of adulation as well and get hooked to it. It becomes tricky here. I am on a quest to defeat my dependence on recognition. But my well-received trainings only reinforce it. Until I become aware, time and again. Until I rise after every tripping and trudge my way back to non-attachment to recognition. Keep Reading

Four Ways In Which Nat-Samrat Shattered Me

natsamrat

I recently watched this Marathi movie Nat-Samrat and was deeply moved by the rich experience the movie offered. The characters, particularly the protagonist Nana Patekar, have performed with such intensity, that you feel as if you have your own skin in the game. The movie left a lot of questions in my head. Also a few conclusions, rather distasteful ones.

Four Insights From Bajirao Mastani

bajirao_mastani

Just back from seeing Bajirao Mastani the second time. There is something about seeing a movie twice – you can appreciate the nuances better. First time you are busy feeling the movie, flowing with the movie, enjoying it. The second time around you have enough leeway to be able to observe it objectively, to be able to feel and at the same time connect the dots and learn things.

Barring the slapstick comedies, I endeavor to learn from all types of movies while I am savouring them. Got four insights while watching this one.  Keep Reading
